[Fish born and killed just to get into the human stomach]
These are farmed fish. Skin disease, eye disease, malformation, injury. It is tattered. Maybe there is a visceral disease.
Fish are handled terribly. Every day an incredible amount of fish is killed. There is a pain sensation in fish. Fish has a feeling of cherishing children and friends. An animal with a rich heart. It is painful to see fish being fished or crushed by farming, killed and eaten, Humans kill such fish with peace and eat bodies while laughing. I want to look away.
The greatest enemy of animals is human appetite.
There are no creatures to eat anything like humans.
Carcasses such as mammals, birds, amphibians, reptiles, fish, mollusks, milk of other species, eggs, eggs, insects, parasites, humans, human fetuses, etc.
[Kyoto Aquarium Dolphin Maria Death Wrong Treatment]
Maria, whose mouth was tattered, died. Maria was deprived of life by human greed. Received life as a born slave at Kamogawa Sea World and was confined to the Kyoto Aquarium, and drugged. Maria was made profitable as an aquarium product. She was shown to meet the dolphin fan’s desire. The cause of oral disease was unknown from the beginning. And she just died. Having not cured and killed for years means that the treatment was wrong.
The veterinarian was unable to identify the cause, and was treating what seemed to be the same as an amateur who was treating while searching online.
A dolphin trainer? Veterinarian? , laughs, chats, and burns skin other than the wound.
I asked Kyoto aquarium “How many years Maria has been sick?” The aquarium responded “I don’t want to tell” , refused to disclose information.
With aquariums and people who like self-proclaimed dolphins,
People trying to free aquariums from confining and suffering dolphins,
Which is the dolphin ally?
The answer is clear.
Two veterinarians watched it through the Dolphin Project.
From the pics you sent me I can confirm that looks like an open dental abscess. In the pic n.4, it’s possible to recognise also the spill pus. The opening of the hole has almost clear margins, so it was present an infection for a long time. The condition of the teeth and gums is really complicated, it would need specific antibiotic treatment.
I think you’re right that this could a severe case of dental decay that has advanced to osteomyelitis and infection of the surrounding tissues, or possibly trauma leading to secondary infection. I would also consider cancer as a possible differential here. While it isn’t overtly tumorous, the jaw is clearly swollen internally in that area and the exposed tissues appear carcinoma-like to me. Oral cancer is not uncommon in captive dolphins and, while they are usually sublingual, squamous cell carcinomas can invade the jaw (though I’m not aware of a case that has been reported in this species). Laser therapy is a common treatment modality for oral/throat cancer, so fits the scenario. All speculation without more info of course.
