JACRE is an organization for selling dolphins from Taiji Dolphin Hunting. The number of member institutions, which was a few in 2016, has increased dramatically to 38.
Due to WAZA’s decision to dislike the unethical way of capturing dolphins, JAZA abandoned it from dolphins. JACRE is an organization created by an aquarium that has resisted the decision.

Aquariums that has left JAZA and joined JACRE is a facility where you want to buy dolphins from dolphins hunting even if you kill them.
Aquariums that did not leave JAZA and joined JACRE are thought to be the target of breeding dolphins. They cannot buy dolphins captured in Taiji, but once the dolphins have bred, they can buy them. Or maybe they started hunting dolphins in Ito City, Shizuoka Prefecture. Dolphin hunting, which does not kill dolphins, is a loophole for WAZA decisions. The wisdom of fisheries agencies, aquariums and animal industry officials is amazing.
Aquariums is such an organization. You can save dolphins by not dropping money into the aquarium.

In Yokohama Hakkeijima Sea Paradise contact lagoon aquariumIt is a very narrow water tank. There is a bottlenose dolphin with a deep bruise of flesh.
Seven years ago, it seems to have protected dolphins caught in the stationary net.Seven years ago, there were wounds. The wound is still reddish and can be visually confirmed that it has not healed. I asked the breeder, “Is it treated? Why is it not cured?”The vague answer was, “I’m applying a plaster, but the dolphins seem to be ugly, and the dolphins rub and scratch my body.”
Won’t heal for over 7 years.Generally I think it is an unusual situation.
If it is not the aquarium tank but the natural sea, what about?
The problems that arise from the difference between the natural world and bred dolphins are: <The problem of water quality> The water in this tank seems to use sea water, but also uses medicine. The dolphins have to stay in the narrow aquarium.
<Food Problems> Aquarium dolphins are fed frozen, low-nutritive fish.Supplements are given to supplement the nutrition.
<Problem of mind and body stress> Being stressed in a narrow aquarium has been stressed a lot for a long time.Immune ability is also considered to be falling.
It is thought that there is a possibility that it will not be cured because of various problems in captivity, but it would be appreciated if you could tell me if you knew anything.
Not only do dolphins get trapped in the aquarium for the rest of their lives, they lose freedom, but they can also prove to be one of the causes of various problems.
