『イルカ解放』：今期のイルカ追い込み漁の捕獲可能人数は、1,849人
人間で言いますと、小さな村のいくつかを絶滅させるほどの人数です。
2021年9月1日から、和歌山県太地町でイルカ追い込み漁（2021年度漁期）が始まります。
今年も多くのイルカが殺されてしまうでしょう。
また、多くのイルカが家族から引き離され、水族館へと売られていくでしょう。
2020年度漁期からの変更点は、オキゴンドウが70人から49人に減った点です。
太地町において、オキゴンドウは2011年から捕獲されていません。
水産庁は科学的な調査に基づき決めているとしていますが、10年間1人も捕獲されていないオキゴンドウの捕獲枠を、今年21人減らした根拠が合理的であると考えることは難しいでしょう。
他の種に関しては、捕獲枠の変更はありませんでした。
動物解放団体リブでは、今期、【『イルカ解放』：XX 】とし、イルカ解放活動に役立つ知識や考え方を共有、多くの人がイルカの保護に関心を持ち、活動に参加することを促します。
