京都水族館に、吻（ふん：口の突き出た部分）が、斜めに切り取られ、組織が見えてしまっているイルカがいます。

・年齢； １４歳（2007年生）
・出生： 野生から捕獲 (おそらく太地）
・特徴； 同水族館に生存するイルカの中で一番身体が大きい。
このひどいケガについて 同水族館に問い合わせました。
以下が回答です。
・原因について；
泳いでる時に、何かにぶつかり、ケガをした。(ショー中ではない)
質問；吻を失うほどの強い衝撃とはどのような状況か
→水中で起こることなのでわからない。（他の質問にもわからない、の繰り返し）
今までにこのようなケガをしたイルカは？
→いない

午前１０時～１７時まで 「シード」を観察、状況と様子；
観客席から見て左側の一番小さなプールに1人でいる。
基本的に、頭と欠損した吻の部分を水上に出す感じでプカプカと浮いている。
(飼育員の出入り口が見える窓の前か、プール中央辺り)
長時間、背中の部分に日光に当たっており、乾ききっていた。
ショーの前になると、泳ぎ始める。
ショー中は水中に潜っているのか、水面に出てこない。(どこにいるか観客席から見えない)
ショーが終わり、飼育員が近くにいるのを確認すると興奮した感じで泳ぎ始める。(ショー後に給餌があることを知っている)
給餌時は元気がある様子。
給餌後は、他のプールに移動した飼育員を水面に顔を出し浮きながら、ずっと目で追っていた。
治療(?) ； ショー後、3回。
この日はすべてトレーナーが行っていた。
水族館に問い合わせましたが、明確な回答が得られないため、私個人の主観、推測とはなりますが、もし 本当に何かにぶつかったのであれば、14年もの間、ゆっくりひと回り１０秒で泳げるような、何もない無機質なプールの中で、今なぜこのような事態が起こったのか理解しかねます。何かしら普段とは違う状況があったのではと思います。
水族館の管理責任が問われるところだと思いますが、情報は限られてしまいます。感染症が心配です。
さらに、8月に出産予定のイルカがいるという理由で、本日からイルカショーはなくなり、そのうちイルカプールも外部から見れなくなるようにカバーするようです。
とにかく、かわいそうでならない。これが私の感じた感想です。

Before the show, he started swimming.
During the show, he didn’t come out to the surface, probably because it’s submerged in the water. (I couldn’t see where I am from the audience)
When the show is over and the trainers were nearby, he begun to swim with excitement. (He knows there is feeding after the show)
He seems to be energetic at the time of feeding.
After feeding, he kept chasing the trainers who had moved to other pools with his eyes while floating on the surface of the water.

The trainer was doing everything on this day.
I contacted the aquarium, but I couldn’t get a clear answer, so
It’s my personal subjectivity and guess, but if I really hit something, he’d be in an empty, inorganic pool for 14 years, where they could swim slowly in 10 seconds. I don’t understand why this happened now. I think there was something unusual situation.
I think that the responsibility for managing the aquarium will be questioned, but the information will be limited. I am worried about infectious diseases.
