わんぱーくこうちアニマルランド（高知県高知市）。
監禁状態が長く続き、精神に異常をきたしたチンパンジーに向精神薬を投与しています。
飲ませている向精神薬は以下、
ロフラゼプ酸エチル（商品名：セルシン／ホリゾン／ダイアップ／デパス／リーゼ／メイラックス）
（副作用：薬物依存、痙攣発作、譫妄、振戦、不眠、不安、幻覚、妄想、離脱症状、刺激興奮）
チンパンジーは人間の言葉を話すことができません。
つまりどんな副作用が出ているか訴えることができないということです。
一番若いヤマトは食糞をしていました。
アメリカのシーワールドでは、イルカに向精神薬を投与しています。
日本の水族館ではチューブを通してイルカに何かを飲ませている場面を目にしますが、確認できていません。
さらには、JAZA（日動水／日本動物園水族館協会）は、この”治療”を、なんと最優秀賞として表彰しています。
「問題解決の成功具体例であり将来の動物園水族館事業の発展に貢献することに誠に大なるものがあります」
今後精神に異常をきたした動物には、向精神薬を投与することを常態化することを目指す、ということと読めます。
本当の解決法は、人間が動物に押し付けた問題を、動物を変えることで解決したように見せかけることではなく、人間こそ動物園水族館こそが問題を生じさせないようにすることなのではないでしょうか。
解決法は分かっているはずです。
根本的根源的な問題を見ないようにし解決を避けて、周辺の問題を解決し、全てが解決したような”フリ”をステークホルダーたちがするのは現代社会の様々な場所で見られます。

3月に行われるシンポジウム「悩める動物園・水族館」というタイトルが、人間の、動物に対する共感の欠如、無神経さ、傲慢さ、人間中心主義を表しているかのようです。

収容所に収容されているのは
・コータ（男性 1989生 30才）：独房（喧嘩を防ぐため）。
・タロー（男性 1963生 56才）：「目指せ！日本一の長生きチンパンジー」とのこと。その目標は人間のためであって、チンパンジーにとってはより長い監禁状態が続くこととなる。
・ヤマト（男性 1999生 20才）：食糞していた。
※女性のチンパンジーは強制繁殖のため他収容所へ送致されている。
なお、わんぱーくこうちアニマルランドは比較的情報公開をしている方かと思います。
他収容所が問題にならないのは、問題を隠しているからにすぎません。
